Using a range of soft wool and traditional looms, you’ll create your own beautiful fabrics — from a small lampshade, cushion to a sample that you can treasure at home. Our workshops combine craft, and a cosy, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for anyone wanting to explore handmade homewares.

What You can Learn & Make

Handweaving techniques on a traditional loom
Using wool and natural fibres
Creating a finished piece to take home — a lampshade, cushion, or small sampler
Finishing techniques: cutting, edging, and caring for your fabric

Duration: 3-4 hours or 3 sets of 3-4 hours
Location: Livinloom Home, Ross‑on‑Wye
Group Size: Max 2 participants for personalised guidance and use of a loom each
Cost: from £85 per person (includes all materials)

What to Bring

We provide looms, wool, tools. Just bring yourself — and a notebook or apron if you like.

If you have your own loom which you'd like to bring along to set up or use, this is also fine but to be discussed prior to the workshop.
